A Brighter Future, This School Year… That is the theme of the First General Assembly of the Sponsor A Child Now Program

It is not just all about the school materials, or school allowance nor Parent’s meeting. It is also about  giving smiles and laughter to the beneficiaries and their parents.  So we invited all of them to attend the 1st SACN General Assembly last July 30, 2011.
They have no idea what to expect in this activity. They had praise and worship activity. A  parent’s orientation. And what surprised them was when they were divided into groups for their team building activities. They played games and fun activities that aim to build a stronger relationship with one another. It’s good to see them enjoying and having fun with their children and with their neighbors. After their snack , the parents received their family pictures and the beneficiaries received toothbrush and toothpaste as their souvenirs.
We thank the Lord from all who support and work with us through this ministry. God put us in this ministry, We believe in one child’s dream “  to see God’s hand to a nation’s success. ”

“ Train a child the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.”
                                                                                                                              Proverbs 22:6

Our partnership with the Schools, a major leap towards our goal

Last July 7th, a school visit was conducted . The goal of this activity is to introduce the program to the beneficiaries’ teachers and school. This is the first step of establishing partnership with the school as a vital part of the beneficiaries’ development.

Birthday Cakes and Gifts for the July Celebrants!

Part of the General Assembly is the birthday celebration of  beneficiaries who are celebrating their birthday in the  month of July. The celebrants are surprised when they are ask to go in front and everyone started to sing a birthday song.
